It's officially post-Thanksgiving, which means you no longer have to feel guilty about listening to your favorite Christmas music. And while most of the holiday's sonic offerings are bland, corporate air-filler, there are those artists who continue to do justice to some of the old school tunes written for Jesus' birthday. Nashville's Timbre is one such songstress who manages to make even the most familiar Christmas songs sound new again with rich, organic layering. You won't find many indie folk artists who wield a harp quite this nicely. Here's track two off her brand new Christmas album Silent Night. Be sure to listen through the climax.
